Hadon of Ancient Opar

I am grateful to Frank Brueckel and John Harwood for writing the
article which sparked the inspiration to create Hadon of Opar and the
Khokarsan civilization. I thank Hulbert Burroughs for his kindness in
permitting me to launch this series of novels. The basic debt, of course, is
owed to Edgar Rice Burroughs, without whose tales of Opar and other lost
cities this book would never have been written.
